Your voice

Sometimes students can feel powerless, like the big decisions are made by people way above their head and it's the student body that have to deal with the repercussions. But it doesn't have to be like that.

As the University's biggest stake holders, the students are entitled to a voice and the SU is here to help make sure that voice is heard. As an individual it can be difficult to make change happen, but as a collective you have a louder voice and big things can be achieved.

There are various ways to get your voice heard. The SU President & Vice-President Education Welfare hold regular meetings with our Course Reps, so if there are any things you would like to bring up, let your rep know and we’ll do our best to help.

Alternatively you can attend our AGM (Annual General Meeting) where we will be talking about the things that have happened in the SU over the year as well as hearing your thoughts on what we should be doing next year. More information will become available closer to March on this page with guidelines on how to submit a proposal.

Something really urgent you need help with and your Course Rep couldn’t solve? You can always contact us directly.
