BU MEDICAL CENTRE

The student medical centre on Bournemouth University's Talbot Campus offers a range of contraceptive advice and sexual health services.

SEXUAL HEALTH DORSET

Sexual Health Dorset is an NHS-ran service. They offer contraception (including emergency contraception), STI screening, and sexual health advice at a variety of clinic locations across Dorset.

The Sexual Health Dorset team often drop in to campus to run STI screening sessions and offer advice on contraception and sexual health. Check the AUBSU calendar to find out when drop-in will next be on campus.

 

Over The Rainbow

Over the Rainbow is an NHS health initiative for the LGBT+ community in Dorset. They offer specialist advice and support on issues relating to sexuality, gender identity, sexual health, HIV, sexual assault, commercial sex work, and safe sex.

STARS DORSET

STARS Dorset is a pan-Dorset charity that offers one to one support, free of charge, for anyone of any age or gender who lives, works or studies in Dorset and has experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their life.

The Dorset charity, Sexual Trauma and Recovery Services (STARS Dorset), is increasing the availability of its Telephone Support Line throughout the COVID-19 period.

As well as the charity’s existing clients, people who have not accessed their services before can call for support and those who are supporting survivors of sexual violence in a personal or professional capacity can also use the service.

The charity will be increasing the availability of their online Live Chat service, which is available through their website, www.starsdorset.org.
