Tree Planting

Saturday 19 January 2019, 10am - 4pm

Location: Upton Country Park

On Saturday 19th January, we'll be going to Upton Country Park to plant over 1000 trees to help support our local green spaces and do our bit for the planet with support from the Woodland Trust. We welcome you to join us! We'll arrange a coach to and from campus so be sure to purchase a ticket to secure your place.

We'll email you out with further details but we're aiming to leave campus at 10am and return around 3/4pm (depending on how fast we plant!).

Remember: 

- Warm Clothes

- Gloves (Gardening or protective gloves are best!)

- Water bottle

There are facilities on site, including a café, toilets and parking. Find out more about the site.

Tickets are £1 and this will cover your travel and lunch. 

Please note, you are still required to purchase a ticket even if you wish to make your own way to the event. If you are not an AUB student, please create a guest account to purchase your ticket.

If this event sells out you can email studentunion@aub.ac.uk to be put on our waiting list. We will then notify you if we have any cancellations or if there is a large enough demand then we will organise an additional coach.
