Womens History Month: Reclaim The Night March

Tuesday 19 March 2019, 6pm - 8:30pm

Location: Buffalo Bar, Winton

Reclaim the Night is a movement started in Leeds in 1977 as part of the Women's Liberation Movement. We march to demand that women be able to move throughout public spaces at night without feeling unsafe. Join us this Women's History Month for our march for empowerment and equality.

We'll start at Buffalo Bar in Winton and walk down to O'Neill's pub in town for a Women's History Month Special Open Mic. (Get in touch if you'd like to perform: studentunion@aub.ac.uk)

While the march is for Women's History Month, people of all identities and gender expressions are welcome to attend to support the cause.

Please purchase a FREE ticket to this March so we can predict the amount of attendees and ensure the event is properly managed!
