As you may or may not know, AUBSU have teamed up with The Somerley Tea Party in order to bring you a full festival experience as your Official Summer Ball (2016)!
We want to involve as many AUB Students in the production of the festival as possible, be it photographers, performers, visual artists, starting up art workshops etc…
As well as asking Students to help with these things, we are also running a competition for Festival Installations (Just to clarify, when we say installations, we don’t just mean an architectural structure, this can be anything from an audio visual experience to a workshop).
It’s a pretty open and broad brief, so be creative!
THE BRIEF:
Submit a proposal for a festival installation. The medium/size/functionality are completely up to you, but please take into consideration the areas of the festival and the possibilities of bad weather (If you haven’t been to STP yet, check out last years site map. The site will be slightly different this year, but this will give you an initial idea of what areas there are to work with).
THE PRIZE:
£500 towards the costs of creating the installation.
