As part of our Give It A Go programme, we're keen to give you opportunities to try out some activities that we can't run weekly. Make sure you watch this space for our taster sessions! Details of upcoming tasters: Wednesday 20th March 2019 KRAV MAGA SELF DEFENCE WORKSHOP 18:00-19:00 Studio 2, SportBU Krav Maga is a military self defence and fighting system derived from a combination of techniques from boxing, wrestling, Aikido, Judo and Karate. Tickets for this event will be £2 per person available online soon! Wednesday 27th March 2019 LEARN SALSA WORKSHOP 17:00-19:30 Conference Centre (F005 & F006) Salsa for beginners! The social dance originates from Cuban Folk Dances. Tickets for this event will be £2 per person available online soon! Wednesday 1st May 2019 17:00-18:00 Bournemouth outdoor Velodrome, Slades Farm Track Cycling Taster If you haven't tried Track Cycling before, now is your chance! Track cycling is a racing sport usually held on specially built banked tracks or velodromes using track bicycles. Give It A Go have a 60 minute session at the Bournemouth Velodrome (10 minute walk from AUB Campus) with a qualified coach who will support your riding throughout the whole session.
