Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP)

Dorset is famed for it's stunning coastline and surfing hotspots, which is why we've partnered up with Bournemouth Surf Academy to bring stand-up paddle boarding (SUPing) to AUB. We'll be holding discounted taster sessions so you can try SUPing with all the equipment provided and under the watchful eye of a trained instructor.

These session passes are sold out. Keep an eye here in case of extra releases later in the Spring Term!

If you've already done the Give it a Go SUP sessions and need something more, or if you're already a pro with a board, then join the AUB Surf Club for regular surfing trips with other students.

Roller Derby

If you're looking to try something a bit different that also happens to be really fun then why not try roller derby? An up and coming sport, it's already captured the heart of loads of people around the globe and is known for its welcoming and inclusive environment.

There's no pressure to join but if you do love it and want to get to the stage where you can twist, jump and race in skates then you can continue as part of their new skater intake and they'll coach you through a whole range of skills. Derby is also a fantastic work out and you'll be marveling at your rock-hard quads in no time!
 

Beginners Salsa Workshop

Salsa for beginners! The social dance originates from Cuban Folk Dances.
 

Track Cycling Taster at Bournemouth Outdoor Velodrome, Slades Farm

Track cycling is a racing sport usually held on specially built banked tracks or velodromes using track bicycles.
