I’m volunteering to be Volunteers Officer to help you get involved in volunteering… Help me to help you to help others.
Goals:
- Start AUB Volunteering social media accounts to show what students get up to through volunteering.
- Promote upcoming opportunities through the new AUB Volunteering social media to get more people involved.
- Create more volunteering collaborations with RAG and the Green Team.
- Make events evenings where volunteers get to meet up and discuss any ideas and suggestions. (Free Pizza Nights for AUB Volunteers?).
- Create more opportunities for volunteers to work with charities that they have an existing passion for.
- Help teach students how to use, and make them aware of the Level-Up Awards from volunteering through AUB.
- Help students incorporate their volunteering experiences professionally into their CVs.
- Make volunteering more inviting and accessible for students, who might be nervous about getting involved, by creating new voluntary positions on campus.
- Continue existing group volunteering activities.
